Activity

Câmpușel information centre

A small entry point for visitors, with maps, access rules, field context, and clear guidance before anyone enters the forest.

PLANNED

Function

The information centre is the operational node for Câmpușel: ranger office, starting point for guided tours, permanent exhibition about species and the model, research space, and a small visitor service area.

Design and location

The building is planned as a landscape-integrated structure, using natural materials and sustainable techniques. The location is selected carefully, at the edge of the managed perimeter, without disturbing the quasi-virgin core.

Materials

Local wood, stone, and recovered materials will be used where possible. The Forever Forest model for wood use also applies here: small quantities, maximum durability.

Construction stages

Details and timing will be published as the project becomes concrete.
